I know how to setup and internet radio station. Maybe not a good one, but I can do it. It used to be fairly simple and probably is even more simple than it used to be. I broadcast all over the city I worked for. During breaks I played classical music. It was fun.
Every so many years there is a movement to get rid of internet radio because record companies can’t seem to understand that there are other ways of selling music or that people would rather get their music in some other fashion. Therefore I’m not a fan of RIA or other companies who fail to grasp hold of technology and hold on to antiquated marketing and business tactics.
Businesses who don’t compete in this country lose. So if the record industry is going to balk, then we’ll have to outsource the profit overseas, won’t we.
I digress …
